Isles of Scilly - 4th October 2020

The weather hasn't improved and actually feels worse than yesterday.  The wind is strong and with squally showers, it isn't fun out there.  Managed a walk in the morning heading via the dump where a Merlin flew over, followed shortly by a marauding Sparrowhawk.  Onto the Old Town Cemetery where three Chiffchaff, two Blackcap, and a Willow Warbler were braving the elements and at least six Swallow were darting around for insects over the adjacent field.

A walk onto Penninis provided a bit of quality with a Lapland Bunting present near the lighthouse.  A small pod of Bottle-nosed Dolphins were seen riding the waves, alerted by a mass of Gannet partaking in a feeding frenzy.

Two Sandwich Tern were seen later fishing off Porthcressa.
