Finningley - Black-winged pratincole
It had been a while since I'd dashed off to see something rare so the long-staying black-winged pratincole in Finningley, Nottinghamshire provided a good opportunity to connect with a really lovely bird. It was very active, hawking for insects along the marsh. The only frustration was that it didn't fly in any closer but great to see and my second in the UK.
