South Gare - Brown Booby
I'd missed one of these a couple of years ago but it does appear that boobies will be a regular occurrence in British waters going forward. A rather sobering sign of the times I guess.
The South Gare adult female brown booby initially present on the well documented green buoy eventually flew to the derelict pier where it rested for a while allowing brilliant views of this vagrant seafarer. Two arctic skua flew past the point.
